work. shop.

a mobile gallery "contrived to free you from the four walls of today!"   artist owned and operated, work. shop. was conceived to offer a beautiful, thoughtful space for art that defies pretension.  housed in a 1958 kenskill trailer, the gallery spent its first 3 years popping up along the pacific coast highway north of santa cruz, and for art events in california.  last year, it embarked on a cross country art adventure, giving art parties and facilitating a traveling collaboration.  this summer, the collaboration continues as work. shop. travels through the pacific northwest.

work. shop. is dedicated to community, resourcefulness, and craft.  we strive to cultivate an intimate and inspired space for deliberate viewers and unsuspecting passers to experience real things made by real people.  the gallery is an ongoing venue for coast road artists, as well as guest artists from most anywhere..  media include prints, etchings, ceramic, sculptural jewelry, zines, cut paper botanicals, etc...

work. shop. also serves as a portal for performance and gathering.  campfires, poetry readings, film screenings, live music, and shadow puppetry are all part of the gallery's past and future...
